The Career Transition Coach for Multicultural People
Helping you chart a career path that aligns with your identities
But firstly, do you have one or more of the following symptoms?
1.
I am not myself at work
"I don't feel like myself at work. I have another identity."
"I struggle to be authentic at work."
"I am not passionate about what I do, but I don't think I can get out of it."
"I am in a job that I don't like, but I guess income comes first."
"I don't feel like I belong in my workplace."
"After becoming a parent, I don't think I can work like this anymore."
2.
I don't fit in the "cultural mould"
"I was meant to follow the footsteps of my parents or siblings - but I didn't want to."
"My parents expect me to be a professional but that did not happen."
"I don't want to confine myself to what I studied."
"My dream was to become something else, but I don't think my family will approve."
"I want a job with more purpose, but everyone says I should climb to the top first."
3.
I have some "multicultural issues"
"I'm a first-gen immigrant - I need to meet expectations."
"I don't want to fail my parents who worked so hard for me to be here."
"I have language barriers at work, and the cultural differences that I'm coming across are huge."
"I don't get much support as my family are abroad. It becomes harder to consider a career change."
4.
I want changes in my work
"I don't want to work here, but I don't know where I'd want to jump onto next."
"I think I want a promotion but I'm not sure if I should go for it."
"I want to change roles within my company but I feel nervous about it."
"I'm not sure of my purpose but I want to find it."
"I feel burnt out working in this job, and I'm wondering if I should take a break."
The Counter-Cultural Method
If any of the above statements resonated with you, I'd love to invite you to a coaching conversation.

It takes courage, energy, time and investment to go against the tide. If you are considering a career change, you will need someone to support you through. Without this, you may find yourself restarting the process a few years later.

Having worked with mostly multicultural clients from three different continents, I have witnessed common themes that hinder people from taking bold career decisions.

I offer two 1:1 programmes: a structured 3-month programme that follows my signature "Counter-Cultural Method" to enable you to make confident decisions on your career change, and a monthly membership programme which will give you complete flexibility on when and what to discuss.
Why me?
I am an ICF ACC accredited coach with a Diploma in Transformational Coaching with Animas Centre for Coaching.
I am also accredited in the "Cultural Orientations Framework", developed by the renowned Philippe Rosinski.

I am a first-generation Asian immigrant in the UK. I have had a few transitions first-hand - relocating without my parents to study in the UK, becoming a mum of two, and quitting my 9-5 job to become self-employed. I also understand organisational and leadership challenges from my experience in corporates.
